A native Texan, born and raised in San Antonio, I have lived in Austin for twenty one years working for the City of Austin and Travis County and then in land development and real estate.

As a child and young adult I attended private Catholic schools in San Antonio, graduating from Holy Cross High School.

Following that, I attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin with a BSW in Social Work. My years as a social worker gave me an appreciation for people in all walks of life. I specialized in work with underprivileged young people and senior citizens in California, Colorado and Austin.

After five years as a social worker in one of America’s most interesting and progressive cities, witnessing its continual growth, I had an opportunity to be a part of that. I have truly seen the city grow. A job with Lumbermen’s Investment Corporation opened up new horizons in business and areas of education and experience in the handling of transactions from sale to closing for builders of subdivisions. This gave me first had experience from the earliest days in how neighborhoods are developed and how builders operate. This has proved invaluable as I work in residential real estate.

After five years in development I saw the opportunities in working for myself as a real estate agent. I believe that my experience serving others has given me the empathy and compassion to work with buyers and sellers especially in today’s economy. I really know how to listen to someone’s care and needs.

My real estate career has been with three companies with three very different philosophies of real estate. Each of them has been a good experience and has increased my skills and abilities. First, with Keller Williams Realty, I profited from their nationally recognized training program; then with Coldwell Banker I embraced their emphasis on putting their clients interest first, before anything else. I have found the professionalism and international scope of RE/ MAX to offer both of those traits and add the very significant impact of one of the world’s leading companies for both myself and my client.
